Rescue & Rehabilitation
Rescue & Rehabilitation
Many of our animals come from difficult situations, including neglect, abandonment, or high-kill shelters. We provide them with medical care, behavioral training, and a safe environment to heal before they are ready for adoption. Our goal is to rehabilitate each pet so they can thrive in their new homes. We work closely with veterinarians, trainers, and foster homes to ensure each animal receives the individualized care they need.
Rescue and rehabilitation refer to the process of saving animals from neglect, abuse, abandonment, or dangerous situations and helping them recover before they are adopted into loving homes.
Rescue: This involves taking in animals from shelters (especially high-kill shelters), removing them from unsafe conditions, or helping strays. Some rescues also take in animals surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them.
Rehabilitation: Once rescued, animals often need medical treatment, behavioral training, socialization, and time to heal. This can include vet care, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, proper nutrition, and emotional support to help them adjust to a safe environment.
The goal of rescue and rehabilitation is to prepare animals for adoption so they can thrive in their new homes.
