At Living the Good Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, we are dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for our rescued cats and dogs. Each animal in our care has been given a second chance, and we strive to ensure the best possible match between adopters and pets.
Our Adoption Process
We take great care in matching our animals with the right families. Our adoption process includes:
A completed adoption application
A meet-and-greet with the pet
A home check (when applicable)
An adoption fee that helps cover veterinary and care costs
Our Commitment to Our Animals
While we do everything we can to ensure a successful adoption, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If at any point the adopted pet is not a good fit, we require that the animal be returned to us immediately. This is a crucial part of our adoption agreement, as we want to ensure their continued safety and well-being.
Why Returns Are Required
If an adopted pet is not the right match for your home, we ask that you contact us right away. Rehoming the animal yourself or surrendering them elsewhere is not permitted. We are responsible for the lifelong welfare of our rescues and will work to find them the right placement.
